Unfortunately, there is no one universal time of day to add posts, during which our posts will be displayed to all audiences. The worst time to add posts is Monday morning, because that's when we catch up after the weekend, and Friday afternoon - you know, everyone's head is already in a different place 🙂
From my observations, the SoMe industry, for example, is equally active on the weekend, but this is not likely to be the case for those in the position of Directors/Presidents. However, everything is a strongly individual issue, because even on weekends I happen to correspond with people in the mentioned positions.
I think the best solution for finding your sweet spot is the well-known trial and error method. It is good to plan your communication for the whole month in advance and successively add activities according to the written out plan - with this solution there is no room for lack of regularity 🙂 .
To begin with, we need to consider who our target audience is, meaning who we want our posts to reach. Next, it is worth analyzing when our audience is likely to be active on the platform. In the morning or in the evening? At the beginning or end of the week? Or maybe at the weekend?
An important step is to determine the purpose of our posts, so let's think about what we want to achieve by adding activity to our profile. Maybe we care about generating leads? Then a good solution is to post expert advice and share our knowledge for free. A case study seems to be the most expected and attractive.
At the last stage, let's consider what is the measure of our success - how we can assess whether we have achieved the set goal when adding a post. Will it be leads, number of likes or views for us? By clearly defining the goal of our action, we are able to answer whether it has been achieved. If, after analysis, we find that the model works, we implement and replicate our concept.
In our training courses and in our proprietary e-book, which customers receive completely free after purchasing our service, we provide more information on how to add posts.
