As I've stressed many times before, LinkedIn is a place to build an expert image, not necessarily to share vacation photos or your pets with a wider audience.
The best reach is of course content with photos or gifs, followed by video clips. Remember that when adding videos, it is worth locating them in the first part of the post. Less reach is given to articles and links directing outside LinkedIn - traffic should stay on the platform.
