Although LinkedIn is traditionally about words and not so much about images, it is still important to post images on LinkedIn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can attract a different audience or a wider audience if you add images to your LinkedIn posts. Remember also that there are many areas of LinkedIn where adding an image is almost REQUIRED. In several places on LinkedIn - both in posts and profiles - LinkedIn provides a \"place holder\" image to which you can add your own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adding your own image in these places is not mandatory, but if you don't, you will be displaying the default LinkedIn image. Not only does this not look very attractive, but by not adding your own image, you are missing out on a fantastic marketing opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can add your logo, photo or any other image that emphasizes your authority or offers your audience another way to get to know you better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don't come to a meeting or interview \"in someone else's shirt,\" and don't rely on the default image from LinkedIn - create your own that tells the recipient something about you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To save you some time, I've put together a complete guide to the photo sizes you might need on LinkedIn. I've separated them into categories to make your life easier.
